P13 bus route - anyone know when it'll be back?

the P13 isnt running down Underhill Rd again, it says it will be that way till 'works completed'

anyone know what works? and if thats likely to be a day or two, a week or two, a month or two??

It wasn't running up Whatley / Underhill this morning. Frustratingly the TfL live bus arrival website was showing it until about 5 minutes before arrival time when it would disappear. I assume they are just going straight along Lordship Lane towards the library.

They are, I saw one about 10 mins ago by Overhill Road.

23 March. On diversion along Lordship Lane while junction of Whateley Road with Lordship Lane has full entry treatment 9 raised to be level with pavements) completed as part of making area safer for children going to the adjacent school.

Ah, cool... I've been trying to find out for about three weeks if they are doing the raised entry treatment on Whateley! No one ever answers the phone number on the traffic notices.

I didn't think to ask the P13 driver where he's stopping while on diversion when I rode it this morning, I just got off at Sogim to be sure. All he would say was that he was "going straight up Lordship".

I think Whateley is to be closed all week?

Apparently the work at Whateley/LL will take 4 weeks!

23 March is the date the road closure ends - unless they finish earlier...

TfL website/buses makes no mention of it being on diversion, so what is actually happening, they were certainly running on Saturday?

I saw it stop at the Overhill Road stop towards New Cross.

I found a status alert on the TfL site... it states:-

"From 08:00 Monday 05 March until 16:00 Thursday 29 March route P13 will be on diversion via Lordship Lane and will not be serving Whateley Road, Underhill Road due to roadworks. Towards Streatham catch bus from North Cross Road or from Grove Tavern. Towards New Cross catch bus from Lordship Lane Estate on Dulwich Common or from Melbourne Grove."

Fyi, the Melbourne Grove bus stop going north (towards Goose Green) is actually in front of the Picturehouse Cinema/gym...

So, it looks like the bus won't stop at the interim Lordship bus stops unless you beg the driver.

March 29th - thats an additional week!!

We've also had a note put through our door from british gas saying theyre going to be upgrading things from the end of the month, anyone know if that means digging up roads - if so that will mean no bus service for a lot longer...

Upgrading things means creating supply lines for the umpteen new dwellings the council has sanctioned.....surely digging up the road ONCE would be enough- but I suppose if they had a brain cell between them they would have a better job!

I was on the P13 and he picked up passengers at the Melbourne Grove stop outside Harris Primary and dropped off passengers at Crystal Palace Road and Overhill Road stops.

the drivers will (should ) stop at any bus stop along the diversion if you either put your hand out or ring the bell.

Curiously notice of Whateley Road being closed from 1A Landcroft Road to Lordship Lane for resurfacing on Monday 26 March.

So the bus route may be diverted but the road should be open before 29 March.

I drive past the bottom of whately road almost daily and I haven't seen any work going on yet...

There has been some work going on there raising the kerb and replacing the pavement at that junction.

Any update on this at all? Its not been running down CPR for a while now, surely they can't be far off of finishing?
