It's her "look" that I find startling/compelling. I mean; come on.

That settles it - definitely a Vauxhall Tavern tribute act circa 1989. They were a trio (Crystal, Alec-sis and Felon) whose big finish was an acapella version of the Paula Abdul classic 'Straight Up'.
