tomo
Hello,I'm having my 12 week scan next week. I understand that as part of the NT combined screening I'll have a scan and bloods taken on the same day. My question is will I be given my risk assessment the same day as the scan or do I have to wait for the results of the blood test too? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18580-12-week-scan-at-kings/ Share on other sites

Fuschia
They do the blood test while you wait Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18580-12-week-scan-at-kings/#findComment-456899 Share on other sites
tomo
Great, thank you! So they process the blood test on the same day? It's a pretty anxious time as it is without having to wait longer for additional results. Lochie
yes i think its also quite quick considering what they are doing - i.e. just a few hours, no longer (as long as they aren't having one of they ludicrously busy days) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18580-12-week-scan-at-kings/#findComment-456907 Share on other sites
Grotty
Its all done at the same time and you get the results on the same day - scan takes about 40 minutes and you then have bloods done straight away - we then waited in waiting room for 30 mins when they called us back and told us combined results. Fuschia
I think they take bloods when you first arrive ... Then scan a bit later Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18580-12-week-scan-at-kings/#findComment-456973 Share on other sites
