  1. Has anyone successfully contested this fine? I’ve just received one for turning right from Muschamp on to Ondine. Ridiculous.
  2. Aria and his team have helped us out on numerous occasions. From fixing a leaky toilet, installing radiators, and servicing boilers. We have also called them out twice for emergency help, once when a pipe came apart, water pouring through our house and yesterday when my husband accidentally drilled a hole into a hot water pipe. Both times, they were prompt, helpful with excellent communication and gave a clear idea of cost from the outset. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and frequently have to local friends.
  3. We?ve just had our catalytic converter stolen for the third time today from our Lexus. It had a cat lock fitted less than a week ago, so they offer no protection. It was parked in a Dulwich village within a hour it was stolen. They just cut them with angle grinders.
  4. Apologies for the intrusion, if anyone is considering a homebirth I am selling my birthpool, its listed in the family room classifieds. It has seen three successful water births but is good as new! Let me know if anyone's interested and I can give you more details.
  5. Not got the book, but this is aimed at getting kids into cooking. http://www.ingreedies.com/around-the-world-with-the-ingreedies/
  6. I'm also considering this nursery for my son who's 16 months. Have had a look around but wondered if anyone had any more experience of this nursery. Thanks
  7. I'm in the same situation, considering schools closest to me, The Belham, which feels like a bit of an unknown despite going on the tour etc and Goose Green although the recent league table results has thrown me. Would love to hear any first hand experience of the Belham. Happy to receive pms. Many thanks
  8. We've just moved to Copleston rd from Danby St and our cats have gone missing. Think they managed to get past the blockade in front of the cat flap in the new house. They are called Manny and Fran Manny is white and with black tabby patches. He's quite large and bold Fran is smaller mostly white with black ears and distinctive black tabby spots. Fran is more timid Please call 07884325540 if you spot them. They are microchipped but don't have collars. Thanks. Now found, hiding behind dishwasher!
  9. I live near to the school and was keen to know the last distance offered for this year as I'll be applying for my son this year so emailed them. They said the last distance was 800m, but reminded me that it could well be less next year due to potential sibling intake from this years year 1's. They're holding open days this autumn so I'd recommend booking onto one to see if it's the right fit for your child.
  10. Their admin is awful! So so frustrating. I can't however fault the care they give my son who's been there for nearly two years. Good luck!
  11. Did you find anyone to help. We need someone to look at our broken washing machine ASAP. Steve who we usually use is away till 24th March!
  12. I'm pretty sure she's just retired or about to...I spoke to her about a month ago re a breastfeeding issue and she said she was going to be leaving in a few weeks. Hope you manage to find someone else to help.
  13. Hi Mooncake, Congratulations on your pregnancy! I think we used the same hypnobirthing practitioner first time around. I'm due my second any day now and did a few refresher sessions with Christine Neillands her details are on her website http://www.bouncebackhypnosis.com She's absolutely lovely and would highly recommend her. She provides you with new hypnobirthing recordings to listen to at home, which I've been listening to daily. Good luck with your birth this time around.
  14. Congratulations Anya and Rachel! Wonderful news all round. Hope you're managing to get some rest?! Cxx
  15. Can't make today, my mum's up to help with energetic toddler who's decided that now is the best time to drop his nap! Hope everyone is feeling as well as we can at this stage in the game. Hopefully I can make the next one, baby permitting. Hello to all the newbies too! Looking forward to your update Anya! Caroline x
  16. Oooh Congratulations everyone on the recent arrivals! Sorry to hear about the pre eclampsia Anya, wishing you all the best for Monday! I'm so ready to meet my baby now. I'm feeling very uncomfortable with SI joint and pelvic pain. Tried to run after my defiant toddler today only to find I physically couldn't. My body feels broken by this pregnancy. Hope everyone had a good Christmas? Look forward to meeting up in the new year with new babies in tow. Cxx
  17. Hi Jemma, I had a successful ECV at kings with my son. We discovered he was breech at 32 weeks and tried everything under the sun to try and turn him as I was planning a home birth. I did acupuncture, moxibustion, spent a lot if time on all fours and also listened to a hypnobirthing cd specifically for visualising your breech baby turning. We were still breech at a scan around 36 weeks so opted to have the ECV. It worked very quickly and I didn't find it uncomfortable. I did spend the time before the procedure listening to said hypno breech turning cd and trying to be as relaxed as possible. I've heard there's a 50/50 chance of it working so it is a bit of pot luck. A friend of mine recently tried it, but unfortunately her baby was not for turning. I know that some women find it uncomfortable too, so I guess you have to weigh up the pros and cons. For me it was worth trying. Have a look at spinning babies website too, it's got lots of tips on baby turning positions. Good luck with whatever you decide. Cx
  18. Congratulations! First thread baby. What did you have? Glad to hear all went well and you got to go home so soon! Enjoy getting to know your little one. Cxx

  20. Yes, location is good for me. What time will you guys be there post yoga? Cx
  21. I'm up for meeting tomorrow morning. I'll be toddler free, whoop! So flexible on where to meet. Cx
  22. My son goes there two days a week. The care is excellent and he's very happy there but agree the admin is pretty sketchy.
  23. Hey! I'm currently free in sat 15th. Would be great to meet up. Should be toddler free then too, so wherever suits the majority suits me.
