12 week scan at Kings

Hello,

I'm having my 12 week scan next week. I understand that as part of the NT combined screening I'll have a scan and bloods taken on the same day. My question is will I be given my risk assessment the same day as the scan or do I have to wait for the results of the blood test too?

Great, thank you! So they process the blood test on the same day? It's a pretty anxious time as it is without having to wait longer for additional results.

yes i think its also quite quick considering what they are doing - i.e. just a few hours, no longer (as long as they aren't having one of they ludicrously busy days)

Its all done at the same time and you get the results on the same day - scan takes about 40 minutes and you then have bloods done straight away - we then waited in waiting room for 30 mins when they called us back and told us combined results.

I think they take bloods when you first arrive ... Then scan a bit later

Had my 12 week scan in July and blood were taken then had scan immediately after. Got told to go and grab a coffee and return in 30mins for results.
