Fuschia
Olbas oil is ok I thinkYou can't tSke anything to dry it up I fearA drink of grated ginger root boiled in water then strained and mixed with lemon and honey is very comforting and helps with sore throat Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18616-pregnancy-cold-what-can-i-take/#findComment-457606 Share on other sites

Fuschia
I think the olbas oil packet, like anything else, says not to use in pg without advice but I think that's the usual 'covering themselves thing'How pregnant are you? The first 12w is the most sensitive for drugs etc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18616-pregnancy-cold-what-can-i-take/#findComment-457614 Share on other sites

Yak
Strawbs, if you have a really sore nose from blowing it all the time, try putting some Lasinoh nipple cream on it. Sounds totally mental but its just pure lanolin and is really soothing. Not sure how pg you are but Lasinoh cream is practically a must for all new mothers so it won't be money wasted! I've only just discovered this tip and I wish I'd known about it earlier on!
