Bus full of games, activities & play workers visiting our local parks 25th July to 26th Aug.

EDITED TO ADD: Was very confused as when I checked their website it was different to the schedule on the board at the park. Have phoned now, and can confirm the website schedule is out of date. So see park noticeboards or phone to check where they are and when.

They will be at Peckham Rye Park every FRIDAY over the holiday from 12-2pm

Sorry to repeat what I said in another thread on here, again I have zero vested interest here: Gymboree Herne Hill is doing a summer arts/theatre class near Herne Hill station. Mondays 2:30-4pm drop off for 3-5 or 3-6 year olds.

Hoping that even zoo/aquarium won't be THAT packed as the summer is longer than a random half term break, pretty please?

Hi,

My Son and Daughter have been attending the Summer Holiday Football and Mixed Sports Programme at Bacon's College in Rotherhithe. Loads of parking on site which is great as i can get the tube to work from Canada Water. She had a great day with a real mix of activities.

Recommended to me by a friend, their son goes to the Football Academy coached by a former Russian international footballer, whose daughter is Elena Baltacha.

Started at 9:00am and went to 3.30pm but I picked her up at 3pm.

One thing I will say is they are very hard to get in contact with. Phone number is 0207 450 4968 and ask for Tom on extension 4086. If you don?t you will get lost in the system and never find out a thing.

I am off to CP tomorrow, morning session opens at 9.30

Not free, but is a lovely place with lots of painting and craft as well as play house, outside toys etc

Take change of clothes and swim costume if hot as they turn on sprinkler

This Fri I was planning on the Horniman (pond dipping and theatre) or possibly P Rye pk one o'c club, woodcraft folk thing etc

Sunbob it's in the FR Classifieds page 1 or 2. Sydenham & donations of food welcome but not essential.

Bessemer Grange Children's Centre summer fun days:

Physical Fun Day - Tues 2nd Aug 10.30 - 13.30

Messy Play Fun Day - Wed 10th Aug 10.30 - 13.30

Imaginative Play Day - Thurs 18th Aug 10.30 - 13.30

Think these tend to be aimed at younger kids (8 and under).

The woodcraft folk thingy in PR pk was great today. Beanbags, pillows, dressing up, musical instruments, painting, badge making .. was really nice sitting on the grass while the children played around us

We went to see the wind in the willows outdoor performance at brockwell park this afternoon - it was great and 2.25 yr old managed to keep interested the whole time (1hr 10 mins). Would be really good for older children though. It's on all of next week - finishes Sunday I think.
