Has anyone done one recently? We are tempted to go for a last minute reduced price one but I noticed they are no longer full board and no longer include waterskiing as they did, presumably owing to the oil price. Shame.

Are they still fun though?

we went last year- last minute with 2 teenagers- it was really good for a week, but could not manage 2 weeks.there was enough free stuff to keep you going, although the free "introduction to sailing etc" was not very inspiring- the additional lessons you pay for were good. The meals are so generous that a sandwich is all you need at lunchtime.

We went on one in March with our 2.5 year old daughter. We all (including my daughter) loved the children's club (used it every morning) and would go again just for the facilities and the level of care that was provided to our daughter.

Thanks for your answers. We didn't go as it is so expensive these days. I had thought of a last minute trip but the lm bargains were about 50pc more than I expected!

Whatever you do DONT go to pontins at Camber sands!! Golden coast at woolacombe and Butlins at Bognor were both excellent. Xx
