Car accident at the plough

I?ve noticed the car taped off now for a couple of days 😩

It's still there, in quite a precarious position. It's kind of focussing drivers' attention though, like when traffic lights are out; road users are using eye contact and courtesy. Maybe there should be an abandoned wreck left at every junction.

It's not a bad idea at that - I don't know if they still do it, when I was a kid I can remember in Italy at the foot of some of the mountain passes there were large placards with photos of people who'd been killed on them recently, also I recall in a German service station on the Autobahn a prominent display of fatal accidents which had happened within 50km of the facility. Anything to make people think!

I've just seen it being loaded onto a truck while Police closed the junction for safety. All clear now apart from some bits of debris.
