Anti fox/cat device

Has anyone ever experienced one of these devices? My neighbour has one turned up to the maximum and, depsite polite requests, won't turn it off or dowm. It emits a really high pitched screech every few seconds and they have it turned on 24 hours a day. I called the Council and their noise people came out but they said it wasn't loud enough to be deemed a statutory nuisance. Apart from climbing over the fence and pulling it off the wall, does anyone have any ideas how to deal with this?

Mind you they probably can't as it is with that eardrum buster sounding off every 5 seconds. It's moments like these that I know Firestarter was a legend..!

Try leaving lots of fox/cat pooh all over their porch to shown them that the device is worthless, even at full volume, and so they should disable it.

You might have a better chance with them if other people are disturbed by the noise and also have a quiet word with them. Have you asked the other neighbours?
