smartie1
threads on CPZ and wheelie bins blocking spaces seem popular so I thought I?d raise another one. Large motor homes parked for weeks on end (as obviously not used that regularly) parked outside living room windows blocking light and taking at least 2 parking spaces! Would a CPZ permit be charged double for such a vehicle?Pretty irritating Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/186713-motorhome-parking/ Share on other sites
uncleglen
the worst thing about large vehicles outside your home is that it provides some cover for would-be burglars Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/186713-motorhome-parking/#findComment-1232462 Share on other sites
Lynne
Completely agree, smartie1. One on our road. The owners obviously don't care about the rest of us. micromacromonkey
It's a real bugbear of mine. I think a 'tortious nuisance' would cover it?http://www.darlingtons.com/blog/nuisance-unlawful-interference-with-landYou can certainly spend a night or two in your campervan on the public highway, but you can't permanently camp somewhere without landowner's permission (TFL or local council I assume). It's probably a grey area as to when a quick stay became a camp.
