For those not on Facebook.

Iris is doing well apart from her fractured leg. As it is infected it can't be repaired yet. She is eating and wagging her tail, bless her heart. Fingers crossed for a good recovery.

Anyone who would like to contribute to her medical care and unable to access the link for her appeal can do so directly to The Neighbourhood Vet in Lordship Lane. Thanks.

Iris is home safe, found in a church car park on Barry Road/ Friern Road.

She is completely fine and healthy, a bit stinky but utterly unaware of how many people were searching for her.

Thank you to absolutely every single person who looked and phoned and texted and helped. I am so grateful for your support. She is still a very easily frightened rescue dog, but hopefully East Dulwich will be a calming influence.Thank you

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
