Ditto Splashabout happy nappy - if you take your daughter to a hydrotherapy pool (e.g. Peckham Pulse) then you don't need a wetsuit (expensive and can restrict movement) as it's warm; I don't even bother with a swimming costume for my girl.

Once you and your daughter are happy in the water then a wetsuit maybe useful so you can use the cooler main pool, too.

Have fun!

I think it would depend on your baby's rate of growth!! I only say that because I bought a happy nappy but only got to use it twice as she grew out of it so it was a bit of a waste of money for me but she is a big girl so grew out of the medium size easily! I now put her in a Huggies disposable swim nappy and sometimes a swimming costume, the nappy is fine on its own.

I was selling my splash about happy nappy a little while ago but it went unsold, I would happily lend it to you to try it out to see if it works for you! it is size medium and has a liner as well. Let me know.

Jennyh makes a good point. If you are taking your daughter for swimming lessons then check with the course organiser about the requirements. Otherwise, check with the pool you are going to. We started with lessons, hence we have used happy nappies (with Huggies little swimmers underneath) from the outset. They are meant to be a very snug fit to prevent leaks into the pool and my daughter has used the same one from 3 months to 6 months.

I would still recommend taking your baby to a hydrotherapy pool esp as she is only 3 months and, I assume, it's her first swimming experience. If you do that then you won't need a wetsuit.

I've got my daughters first happy nappy which I am banned from using for my son on account of it being more feminine colours! Hmmm

I put it on here a few weeks ago and still have it, was asking ?3 if your interested.

I always used a disposable nappy underneath, although we never had any incidences with this nappy, we did with a later larger one and I am happy to confirm the system works and the happy nappy remained unsoiled!

I'm after an extra large happy nappy if anyone wants to get rid of one......

    • Yes, should have given up by now but haven’t. Was waiting for my train yesterday and went into WHS on platform to buy a pack of fags. Almost feel to the floor when guy quoted me £28.00 for a packet of Silk Cut purple. Was a long day for me and thought I had totally misheard him! Asked again, only to be told that that was the price whuch is well over the odds..when I queried it as have bought, admittedly end of last year was told “ this is what management charges”. Surely this can’t be right…fags stayed in WHS paws while I bought some in Herne Hill at normal price. Still reeling over shock…..
    • I use the one in peckham where lidles is they are really good if you need somewhere closer
    • Going to be really inconvenient for folk to go that way as has been stated.. why not just move to Camberwell which I would assume is abit nearer and better travelling wise or have vets in both places from Lordship Lane Branch.. Must have been massive flood if going to take two months to dry out, electrical tests to make sure all good… From upstairs? Or where?
    • @selector73 Thanks!  Because we want him to be treated by the vets that know him we will have to get to the New X branch because thats where the team are based until LL reopens. Thank you again 🙏
