I also had an epidural with both of mine. With the first,the epidural provided amazing pain relief as my labour was 52 hours... After the epidural I also got some sleep and calmed myself down - pethidine also helped me greatly! With the second I had the epidural very late and as a result could feel the pressure of pushing and the baby coming out but absolutely no pain, which was also good for the stitches afterwards... not sure many midwives would have recommended an epidural at this late stage but it worked for me. X

I wanted to recommend my personal trainer Charlotte who has been working with me and my friend since January. I've always looked at ads for personal trainers but never quite summoned up the courage to contact them. Charlotte is just brilliant, she makes you work hard and is dedicated to providing a programme which challenges us! We train in Peckham Rye park and each session has been different... boxing, step, kettlebell, medicine balls... you name it! Yes, I would also recommend getting there as early as possible - from 8am or a bit before - the queue can be very long. Also agree that the doctors were lovely - hope all goes well x

I am currently considering having braces fitted at the Aesthetic Dental Zone on Lordship Lane just by Goose Green. If a child "fails" the year 1 phonics test, they have to take it again the next year. Extra phonics teaching would be put into place for these children but would not involve the now year 2 child being sent back to year 1!
