littleEDfamily
Hello! We are hoping to go to Sicily for the next half term with our 1 and 4 year olds (and maybe a few mates).I'd love it if someone could recommend a particular villa in Sicily that is suitable for a family. Ideally we'd like to be walking distance to or within a sea village with relaxed family restaurants and a bit of ambience (as opposed to being tucked away somewhere in the hills). We'd also be fine with a reasonably spacious apartment.Anyone been there and can give us a shove in the right direction? LillyD
Last year we stayed at Casu Blu with Solo Sicily. Its not in a village but a 5 minute drive to the lovely Scopello and the Zingaro nature Reserve (dodgy road from road to villa should have been surfaced by now). I loved Western Sicilly and would go again. The villa is simple but has a pool and lovely sea views. LillyD
Oh yes - this would be for your family only as its only 2 bedrooms, but I would recommend the area if you want something bigger. Trish
I'd second a recommendation for western Sicily - very unspoilt, aamazing food and wine. Just a beautiful place. I can't offer any accommodation recommendations because we tend to stay in the middle of nowhere!
