My sons micro mini scooter has a long crack above the front right wheel which happened this morning as he was riding to the swimming pool. He did bump against a pole but not at a fast speed so really do not think it should have caused this much damage! Where it is situated I'm concerned that it will not be strong enough to hold. As it was only bought at Christmas and used occasionally on the weekend I want to return it but can't find the receipt or warranty(if it even comes with one). Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? What do you think the chances are of an exchange? I just feel it's an expensive 'crack' for 7 months minimal use!!
Thank you. They would need to replace the whole board if they would. I ordered from Jojomamanbebe so am going to see if they have a copy of my original order and delivery and what they can do/suggest.If they can't help then shall look at the website. I do have photos of when he first received it as well - Christmas Day opening of presents! It's just very annoying as am off from school for the 6 weeks and the scooter is preferred mode of transport than balance bike at the moment.

Success!! Contacted Jojomamanbebe who were so helpful and found my order number. All I had to do was email them photos which they forwarded to Micro Scooter who are now sending me a replacement deck!! All within 24 hours.

Just wanted to let people know in case anyone else is in a similar situation.

Please always feel free to contact us directly for spare parts. Some of these are free and for those that aren't we charge very reasonable prices if the scooter is out of the warranty period. We are the official UK distributors for the Mini and Maxi Micro Scooters. www.micro-scooters.co.uk. 0845 258 7532.

    • Maybe if you indicated what you were reviewing, pub, gastro pub, high-end gourmet, local Italian etc. - whatever classifications you wanted, then you need only indicate that your stars referred to overall quality in that category. So it it's pub grub then 5 stars means it's great pub grub, but not the same experience as 5 stars in a high end gourmet category. Your star system could then include implicitly value for money as well.
    • Does OP know they can sell everything but alcohol even without a license?😄
    • Thanks, it's a real dilemma whether to do star ratings. A few people have asked me to do them but I've tried to resist as they are too reductive - people will look at them and won't read review! and they are difficult too - my last review of Victoria Inn, i'd give it five stars for value for money - how can you knock two courses for £18? – but 2 stars for quality - edible but nothing special. Which I guess is why some sites give star ratings for different things...
    • ok - Jeremy himself is against mandatory vaccines. Is he as extreme as his brother? No? Is it fair to discuss how the overall view of that family would inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic? I would argue very much so
