Best dentist

I am a very nervous patient in need of dental work!! Can anyone recommend the best local dentist who is gentle?? It does not matter if they are NHS or private- I just want the reassurance of someone who is really good at their job!

Andrea Magauran at Moorgate Dental (& her nurse Carmen) is amazing. She has filled many of my teeth and given me a crown, all painless and in a calm atmosphere. I have had varying levels of nerves over the years and she has been brilliant.

If you don't mind going private, Dr Emily Champ at Haynes Dental (Tulse Hill). I'm a very nervous patient and she's totally won me over - she focuses on keeping teeth natural and healthy for as long as possible rather than dental interventions and cosmetic work, so it may depend what you need doing.

Dr Philip Norton is amazing, I had a filling and didn't feel a thing, him and his nurse are amazing and reassuring and calming, great guy and excellent work, am sure if you tell him how you feel as well he will work with you to limit any stress. good luck
