Stray cat on Crystal Palace Road
monkeyspanner replied to Digbina's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
seems a bit extreme to assume it's a stray just because it's scruffy. Perhaps paper collar it first? https://www.cats.org.uk/media/1283/com_1032_lost_and_found_collar_print_out_aw.pdf -
Pavel "&move" - you will find a lot of recommendations on here. He's moved us twice.

Recommendations for understanding funeral directors
monkeyspanner replied to klockton's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I am sorry for your loss and that you had a bad experience. I have no knowledge of local directors but your post reminded me of this thread where several people mention Albins in SE16 /forum/read.php?20,2189069,2189069 -
I thought we needed the same but between a good carpenter and decorator our dad looking for which stuck now looks and works like a new one with security gadgets..might not be necessary to change.

Search on here for Pavel and 'And move', he was brilliant.

Agree rescue is the best option, but failing that, Scallywags in West Wickham are responsible breeders, although not sure if you will get pigs from them at this time of year. We have our pigs inside at night in a c&c cage and an eglu run in the garden during the day. Have a read online as they need a lot of space to run around otherwise they get bored and can fight.

second the recommendation for Oskar.

David replaced all our guttering and fascias, very efficient, thorough, honest and knowledgeable. Another satisfied customer, strongly recommend.
-
Agree strongly with both recs above - Oskar's team worked hard and professionally to install a new fence and gate despite it not being a straightforward job. They were very reliable, prompt to give a quote (exactly the same experience as Nellie), and tidy too. I cannot find fault with any of their work.

Anyone remember who's the person to email at the council about refuse collections? We are about to ask for a third food waste bin this year as the bin men keep tossing them back into the garden and breaking them.

Roofer recommendation, Jan 2020, Russell Perring
monkeyspanner replied to loaf's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Does anyone have a new number for Russell? The one above, 07852 972052, seems to not be working. -
Yes! If you want 4 adult foxes screeching all night, ripping up everything you leave out, and shitting all over your garden/doorstep, go ahead.

Volunteer Appeal on behalf of Kristal Pharmacy
monkeyspanner replied to Thunderblue600's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
my thoughts aren't - volunteers would be enabling them to deliver essential services - dispensing and Post Office - safely? -
Luca's in N Cross road also delivering bread, eggs and milk, not sure if they have a minimum order.
