Another recommendation for Des. He has just finished painting the outside of our house to a very high standard. He is reliable and trustworthy and a real perfectionist. He always left the area he was working in tidy and gave good advice on materials and solutions. We will definitely be asking him back next year when there is more work to be done on the inside. I have 3 or 4 trees that need a good seeing too - maybe pollarding (not sure) and others which need a bit of a trim. We previously had some guy who was more on the tree's side and said he'd do what was best for the tree as I was being a bit too demanding and cut hardly anything off at all. might be a bit late for you but I would recommend David Duggan 07943 804 075. He found and fixed a damp problem for us (& the damage the damp had done to our floor joists) at a reasonable price. I thought he was excellent and the quality of his & team's work high. Having had quite a few people round to discuss damp, he is of the 'all damp has a cause, identify the cause & fix that problem' school rather than the chemical damp treatment salesmen & so on. pm me if you have any questions.
