FREE Mobility aids and arm crutches

Recommended Posts

Hi I have 4 wheeled walking aids (look like this https://www.nrshealthcare.co.uk/mobility-aids/walking-aids/walking-frames-rollators/domestic-walking-frame-with-wheels?fee=19&fep=37931&gclid=CjwKCAjw75HWBRAwEiwAdzefxCK3KgfWOmiFBid9tMC8hH2oQ_ewWs_M9ewQIpjfKBht1KP031SzehoCdVkQAvD_BwE#228=1703

and a set of arm crutches https://www.co-opmobility.co.uk/mobility-aids/crutches/elbow-crutches/p/nhs-hospital-crutches?o=19981&gclid=CjwKCAjw75HWBRAwEiwAdzefxLMns8iJ6VFLfVpYtYj051OteDMF2s0jgdO7H5F8giJe7DwIAcwP5xoCBE8QAvD_BwE

They are all like new, scarcely used.

The NHS do not accept these back. I have offered to the Red Cross who instructed me to bring them down to a van outside Sainsburys in Croydon between 130 and 330 on a Thursday....unfortunately I don't have a car, so that's not really an option for me.

So...any takers?

Hi,

If there are no takers on the Forum you could approach Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (www.sdcas.org.uk) who may have disabled/mobility-impaired clients who would find them useful:

The main office is staffed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is based at the Copleston Centre.

Address:

Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers,

Copleston Centre, Copleston Road, London SE15 4AN
