Enida
Hello - we're just about to move in the area and I am doing some research on nurseries. I am getting very confused! Seems like they are all for children over 2-3 year old. How about younger ones? My daughter is one year old and I'm looking for a nursery for may be two days a week. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks Enida Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18759-nursery-for-one-year-olds/ Share on other sites
srisky
I've visited My favourtite nursery (Upland Rd), Little Jungle (Amott Rd) and Bright Horizons Dulwich Nursery (on the grounds of Sainsbury's, Dog Kennel Hill). They all seem nice and take under ones to 5yr olds. Sol
Didn't have much luck with Mother Goose Greendale, they asked me to put the cheque in their post box, they didn't allow me in or go for a visit, and they emailed me saying that my daughter was put in the waiting list for June 2012. I felt like they just wanted my ?20, which is not a lot, but if they do this to everyone, it will be a good free revenue for doing nothing. You may find a place at my favourite nursery is you are flexible with the days. I also like Gumboots, and they have new premisses, but there is a long waiting list and you may need to wait for a year.If you haven't put it in waiting list yet, she may be 2 by the time you get a place. Good Luck! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18759-nursery-for-one-year-olds/#findComment-460047 Share on other sites
Enida
Thank you very much every one. You've been all so helpful. I hope we'll find something for her as I'd love a few days off once in a while!!Enida Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18759-nursery-for-one-year-olds/#findComment-460063 Share on other sites
