Mould on muslin

Ok I'm officially a slummy mummy!

Whilst out with baby f I used a muslin to mop up some juice it them went in a nappy bad with washable naPpy... I then went away this weekend & so it sat festering on the kitchen floor in the bag... I went to wash it today & noticed it had mould on it, so I washed it with the nappies etc on 60 but the mould is still on it. I hung it in the sun all day but it's still there... So, is there anything I can do to get it out or has it bitten the dust?

I'm sure we've all been there in one form or another. Husband left a used nappy in a bag I only use once a week. Thankfully it was only a wet nappy, and it was a disposable. But it made my bag smell like a public loo!

For the muslin:

Household chlorine bleach on a 90 C wash. Molds are very tenacious.

(Otherwise, just throw out the muslin.) xx

I ended up with a mouldy muslin & nothing shifted the stain from it so now it's a floor cleaning cloth!

Quite a few of our bibs have mould on them (stuffed in cupboard waiting to be washed = manky bibs!) - is it bad I just carry on using them?!?
