Saffron
Did you try a specialty stain remover like Dr Beckmann's 'Stain Devils'. This brand makes specially formulated stain removers for different types of stain. Look for the one that says on the lable that it treats chocolate.Chocolate is a complex stain. It's a mix of oil and protein. You need to emulsify the oil, then dissolve the protein. Use only tepid water when treating this stain. Water that is too hot will 'set' a protein stain. As a homemade stain remover, try first rubbing the stain directly with fabric conditioner liquid to emulsify the oil. Next, wash the conditioner out of the fabric by hand with some washing-up liquid applied to the stain. Rinse the fabric thoroughly. Treat the remaining stain directly with a small amount of biological laundry liquid, and then soak it for some time. Finally wash the garment in the machine as per the label's instructions, but using only tepid water.xx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/18812-removal-of-chocolate-ice-cream-stains/#findComment-460904 Share on other sites
