Hi there everyone, hope you are all doing well. I was wondering if I could pick the brains of any one regarding a scald I suffered some months back from boiling hot water in a kettle. Whilst the scald has fully healed, unfortunately it has left quite a scar on the area burned and I wondered if any body had any tips or suggestions towards reducing the scarring.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion prit, I do see what you mean by being unable to make a comparison and I'll be sure to check it out.

Hi blah blah, I'm not too sure if the burn was first or second degree (my personal guess would be either a very bad first or second) but I went to the hospital after the incident and was told by the doctor it was only a superficial burn and should heal without any scarring but this hasn't been the case since it happened last August. Your 18 month period is encouraging though and thanks for the sunburn advice.

Thanks for the link and advice Skylorikeet, I will also look into using bio oil and keep you all updated.

As mentioned before, I am very grateful for all taking their time out to reply with suggestions. Thanks again

Kind regards

Dr Erich Schulte was a trama surgeon in Germany he made his collegen and exfoliating liquid in his lab to help with skin grafts and healing process

It explains everything on website

Do not know how old your scare is but naturally they face over the years

These products get right into the epidermis so heals from the inside which is the only way to reduce scares

Hope this helps

    • My experience of the Forest Hill Post Office isn't good. Typical is today, where I arrive at 3:30 with parcels already labelled ready to be scanned and dropped off. There's just one of three windows open, a 30 minute queue, and a hand-written notice up that the service will close at 4 PM instead of the advertised 5:30 The woman working there came out and put a physical barrier at the end of the queue, then asked the last person to tell any further arrivals not to join the queue as she won't be able to serve them. When she made her way back through the locked door, I managed to get her to take my parcels with her behind the counter, but didn't get them scanned, so hoping for the best.
