Evening all,

Please join us at this preview exhibition celebrating the launch of this groundbreaking street level domestic abuse campaign!

No more billboards featuring black eyes on white women aged between 25-35, this campaign represents the truth in that anybody could fall victim to domestic abuse and that it effects us all.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men, thats a LOT of people directly experiencing this crime behind closed doors.

Imogen Paton founder of Arts Against Abuse, ambassador and ex service user for Solace Women's Aid heralds both men and women as the true heroes in the fight against the U.K crime with the highest level of repeat.

"It takes no strength to beat someones body or mind, but incredible strength to survive it."

Please register your ticket via the Eventbrite to help us keep tabs on numbers or just pop down between 8-11 on the 18th of April if thats easier! Your presence counts more than your punctuality!

    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
    • We're having a bumper crop of eating apples this year - so many infact that we're wondering what to do with the surplus. Neighbours have had some and we've left some outside the house but I was thinking we could pass some on to a foodbank - or even to Kings if they're allowed to take in fruit?   Suggestions appreciated.
    • I agree with this. There are lot's of shops selling similar foods. And the two shops aren't positioned that close together - further from each other than say Franco Manca and Yard Sale, or Bruno's and Dynamic Wines, etc.
