there is a ghost in heber apparently - not seen I myself but it was discussed a few years back and the tale seems to have spanned a few generations of students from what people were saying. Maybe not good to mention this to the current cohort as it seems to have dropped of the rumour radar.

eta an onsite caretaker who dies in mysterious circumstances years ago was mentioned as being the ghost

Do let me know if this is not the case, and I'll be sure to strike it off the shortlist for biscuits jr.

Gives me the Heber Jeebies

The lights were on in the school at night, all night, throughout the whole of the Christmas Holidays and, over the past weekend, the lights were on and some windows were open- so our council tax money is being spent 'wisely'- it looks like a case or two of 'the lights are on but there is no-one home'

Fair point- but I never remember in the cold light of day.....(I will refrain from pointing out that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!)

The Horniman Nature Reserve rats will take on any of yours, apart from.... Cox's walk which takes on another level.  During Covid it felt like you were in Hamelin.
