The very warmest of welcomes to all families who will join us this coming September from the Friends of Harris Primary ED, our PTA.

We know that starting school is more fun for parents and kids alike if you already know a few faces, so please put the following dates in your diaries:

Sat 16th June - welcome picnic

Sat 30th June - summer fete

Fri 13th July - cake sale and second hand uniform sale

The welcome picnics in particular are a wonderful way to get to know classmates-to-be, and we'll aim to start a Reception 2018 whatsapp group from that point so that further meet ups can be organised over summer.

In the meantime, follow us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/HPAeastdulwich or our brand new Instagram (@FoHPED), and bookmark our website: www.friendsofHPED.com

And for anyone interested, the full list of 2018 PTA dates can be found here:

We look forward to meeting you soon!

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
