NOW FOUND - Ginger cat missing - Pellatt Road

Hi everyone,

Our ginger cat seems to have disappeared after escaping out the front door on Pellatt, at the post office end. Photo attached. He has a dodgy back leg so we're worried he might be hurt or trapped somewhere. If anyone in the immediate area could check their gardens/garages/sheds and let us know of any sightings, we would be very grateful!

One of our cats went missing form Pellatt Road some time ago for a whole month. We thought the worst (as you would after all that time) but he turned up (via the forum) in Lacon Road 4 weeks later!

If you've got flyers I'd suggest you widen the search a little. Their little legs can take them an awfully long way!

I really hope he turns up and will keep an eye out for him.

Oh my days! I'm so sorry to hear that he's missing. Me and Leon will keep a look out for him. I once had a cat (MJ) who went missing for two months! He came back and was fine. God knows where he got to! Be strong and don't give up

Thanks again for everyone's comments and support - unfortunately Lots is still missing and his brother Wool is very sad. Hopefully he will find his way home soon.

I am happy -- and surprised! -- to report that 5 weeks after going missing Lots has been found! Thank you so much to everyone who watched out for him and helped us find him. He ended up in a back garden around Landells and Gooderich, and looks very well cared for so maybe has been living with a surrogate family.

Thanks again for all the help from people on this Forum, and hoping that all the other missing cats find their way home too.

I had spoken to your husband when my ginger cat also went missing from Whateley Road. Glad our little gingers are both back!

Thanks Pickle. We had great luck putting up posters and most importantly putting flyers through loads of doors, even further away than you think your cat would go (ours ended up nearly 5 streets away from ours). We did another round of flyers through doors near where there was a sighting last week, and even 5 weeks after he went missing that is what led us to finding him - thanks to calls from kind neighbours! Keep up hope!

Really glad to hear that he has returned home. I got so used to seeing his little face on the posters you put up bless him! Hope all the others return home soon too (tu)
