My view is that Liverpool have no moral values. After all, last January they spent ?60m on two players, one accused of assaulting a woman and the other known for cannibalism on the pitch.

edit to remove a double negative.

No I've never been racially abused, and I never said that because he didn't react, it couldn't have happened. Again with the putting words in my mouth.

Zidane was a pro too by the way.

I think the only thing that is clear is that UDT doesn't like Liverpool, and so will spout any old shite about them.

Like I've said several times, IF there is any evidence of wrongdoing, he should be punished. Until that happens, most sane people won't be convinced of his guilt just because they don't like his club.

Otta, your statements seems to be getting more ridiculous as time goes by. I've never said I hated Liverpool or any other clubs for that matter. All I did was merely pointed out Liverpool's moral position when it comes to buying players.

Zidane acted unprofessionally during the World Cup final game against Italy. Are you seriously saying he acted entirely professionally in the sending off incident?

I wasn't aware any morality existed nowadays in the world of transfers or football for that matter. If a player is important enough to a club they will overlook just about anything so long as it doesn't interfere with his ability to play.

Off the top of my head I can remember MU sacking Tommy Doc for having being caught having an affair with the wife of another employee. You could say that was a moral stance. Anyone think of other examples?

AM,

Glen Hoddle and Terry Venables as England managers. Their sackings were totally unrelated to football. Terry Venables had technically resigned his position but there were question marks about his business interests though.

Also, Mutu sacked by Chelsea for taking drugs.

Okay then. I'll be sure to do more research about the allegation. Clearly I'm missing the evidence that proves Suarez guilty.

At the other end of the spectrum, Arsenal supporting Tony Adams after his prison sentence for drink driving, and Paul Merson after admitting his addictions to drink, drugs, and gambling. Oh and Paul Davis after breaking an opponents jaw.

If memory serves me correctly Patrick Vieira accused Neil Ruddock of racism a few years back, during a rather unpleasant exchange which saw Vieira spitting at "Razor"? Ian Wright also famously accused Peter schmeichel of racism during a typically friendly encounter.

Really?? I thought it was because the opponent had raked the back of his ankle, or part of his leg, with his studs??

Well he certainly had problems fot at least two months after Davis walloped him!! ;-)

    • Dear families,   My name is Eleanor. I’ve worked in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for the past eight years, and I’m about to begin an Infant Observation course in preparation for psychotherapy training. I’m looking for a baby to observe as part of this training.   The observation involves me visiting a baby and their parent for one hour a week over two years, with the aim of deepening my understanding of early emotional and developmental processes. Taking part is a generous contribution to the training of future child psychotherapists — ultimately supporting the mental health of children and families.   Both of my own children were observed as babies, which I found to be a really positive experience. Having an observer gently witness my babies’ development helped me notice their weekly changes in a new way, and I came to appreciate the calm, consistent presence of a trained observer. I was sad when the observations ended!   If you — or someone you know — is expecting a baby due before the end of February*, I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at +44 7977 910018 or [email protected].   Best wishes, Eleanor

This is obviously a message from the universe to tell me to get off my phone and get back to working my way through my very lengthy to do list 🤣 ETA: And it's just happened again when I tried to agree with a post in the lounge. OK universe, I give in. Back to the hideous task list.
