I don't think the players would be best pleased tbh. Do we need him, no. He was outstanding last season but I think Aguero will surpass him. I also think this is a bit of ploy to to force Tevezs/Kias hand. To apologise will be seen as tevez admitting he was wrong and his current stance is that he did nothing wrong. If Tevez doesn't apologise and doesn't get to play it means the club won't get into major contractual wrangles-the ball is firmly in Tevez court. I wanted Tevez gone in the Summer window, he caused shit then and caused shit in January window-it was only going to get worse IMO

Well done to all concerned in the recent game between Doncaster and Middlesborough, nice displays of humanity and sensitivity all round. Take heed Tevez, Billy Sharp lost a son and still insisted on playing, at ?250,000 a week, do you think you might consider it?

Not in his first 4 years. 1989 supporters wanted him sacked after his own admission of "my most humiliating defeat ever" trying to remember the team that beat them? Remember it was a 5-1 defeat by a newly promoted team, I remember who they were now, same team that "was the most humilating defeat in my career" some 2 weeks ago !


According to Utd (well plastics anyway) football was invented in 1993 and inception of EPL. Prior to that Utd 37 yrs in wilderness, we only had 34 !


Sorry for the rant but it does annoy when Utd success has only been in the last 20 yrs. They still owe us about 3bn in ground share fees from when Uwe Roslers grandad bombed OT !

Why do we call them Rags?

Workers at a factory in Stockport were told they couldn't afford a new strip so got as many rags together and sowed a team strip together.

Prior to when 37 years in the wilderness????? just off the top of my head er United won the Cup in 1979(?) and 1984 for a start BR (and I'm not convinced they didn't win a League Cup somehwere).....and I don't even support them, let alone a European cup in 68, 68 +37 you do the maths ..you sure you're not a newbie or you been on the sauce???

Feguson had a big job to do in breaking the drinking culture at MU with Mc Grath Robson etc, so the first couple of years its often thought were spent slowly getting rid of the old guard before he could even think about building something he could call his own team.

      Big recommendation for Stephen Viccary who has created a magnificent bathroom for us. Quality of work is absolutely top notch. We couldn't be happier - see pics.  Stephen is considerate and tidy meaning working from home during the work was fine (some noise - obviously, it is a demo and installation after all. He does not work on multiple jobs, does a full days work and does ALL the work himself - Tiling, plumbing, lighting (including lighting on a motion sensor under the vanity and in the shower niche - for night time visits 😉), he even changed the door architraves, sorted the badly cracked ceiling and did all the paint work.       Highly recommend Dulwich Eco Gardening.  When he came to quote Saied said he’d give our garden back so we could decide what we do next.  Under two weeks of hard work from Saied and Mo and we have the garden back and can see paving I’d forgotten about. Not only did Saied remove our very overgrown greenery. Nature had taken over. He also took back to our fence line overgrown ivy, apple and pear trees and and dealt with a neighbours bamboo that had invaded our garden.  We are now going to get quotes for what we do next so those quoting will be able to see the space.  Saied has suggested someone to quote and will be coming back when he does in case he has any questions or they can work together.  I thought Saied would be a good choice and he was. Quotes from others didn’t leave me with confidence for the end result. That was never a concern with Saied.
