you could always get that enlightened chap Alan Hansen to host it, he's looking for a gig!

You can feck off an all Quids yer miserable cunt. Oh hang on... are we in the Big Five again? Cheers! Pour yourself another Stella and have a happy Christmas. So you were a bit of as casual in your 80s heyday. Really impressed with your tough guy impression. At least I still go to football.

I was merely pointing out how successful and popular the Scottish football thread was. Obviously you've had a sense of humour bypass.

At least I still go to football.

Yeah, I gave up when the C*nts started going.....I suspect I've been far more and far further than you, ever Jah, if you want to do the big macho football fan thing. Popping up the Lane on a borrowed ticket every other week isn't that impressive

Thank you PGC.

Not sure we are allowed to talk about this on Jahs thread, but was not a great game I'm afraid, ruined by the gale force winds but sets things up nicely for a close finish to the title race. Should be fun.

Celtic fans everywhere...

Yesterday Rio Ferdinand had looked forward to the match by tweeting: ?Training done, the sofa is shouting me to come+get comfy! Old firm game who you having?? Coooome on Celtic..get the Maestro Paul Mcstay back!?

During the match he added: ?Atmosphere sounds unbelievable at the old firm game! 1 ? 0 to celtic?. ?

Pre-match team-mate Wayne Rooney had tweeted: ?Come on the hoops. Win tonight and go top.?

Michael Owen added: ?Do atmospheres get any better? Unbelievable. #oldfirm.?

Coatbridge bhoy Barry Bannon of Aston Villa was accompanied by Villa team-mate Andreas Weimann who tweeted: ?On the way to parkhead with @BBannan25 and @nickylaughlin ! First old firm game ?come on the hoops ! ?

Afterwards Weimann tweeted: ?First old firm game was brilliant ! Atmosphere is unreal ?and the hoops won ha ! #happydays.?

Finally keeping his feet on the ground Neil Lennon tweeted: ?Very proud of the team tonight. Great result.?

Not at all, I posted something whilst pissed, but still stand by the fact I think the SPL is a shit league. After my post, I didn't see any of the follow up until I woke up today to find a PM from Quids telling me I was being an arsehole. I had no idea what he was talking about, and was worried it was something worth getting upset about.

Then I realised it was football, so I stopped worrying.

    • Callout for help from any local experts here. Looking to find out more about the history of the property on the corner of Whateley Road and Ulverscroft road (with the green glazed bricks). Now a residential property, i'm told it was a bottle shop in days gone (the house was built around 1900) by and i'd like to learn more about the history of the business that was once here - name, photos, anything at all really! Seems to be very little from open source research so i'm hoping anyone with history in the area can provide any insight!  Starting here before i contact Southwark Archives or similar orgs to get any information and pictures (any advice here also would be welcome). Thank you
    • Portable ramps are available for businesses to use in this sort of situation, aren't they? I don't know whether one would be suitable for use here, or whether they have the space to store one. Lots of people have  permanent or temporary disabilities which mean they have to use crutches or a wheelchair.
