That's the least of their problems. According to recent reports, Redknapp said he wanted the club to be bold in the transfer market if they wanted to compete for the premiership. Well his track record isn't particularly good if you look at clubs like Portsmouth, Southampton & West Ham all enjoying championship football after Harry's ambitions.

What rubbish.

Steve Wigley got Saints in terminal trouble and Glen Roeder (allbeit as a patsy) got WH relegated nearly two years after Harry had rowed with the board and left.

Camara was wanted got rid of at ?600,000. West Ham payed ?1.5m with his agent (step forward Mark Redknapp) taking 50% of any price above that he got as commision. KERCHING ?450,000 and another snooker room at Sandbanks..that's how the odious Redknapp fooks your club up

alledgedly

No wonder he looks so gloomy these days.

Oh agree Jah, Levy's far too smart for 'Arry's tricks plus the days of all sorts of extras for the managers are noiw over. But ultimately, Harry persuaded a reluctant Rio to leave UP for a big money deal, most of which was spent on dross of who significant parts of their fees went to Harry or his son is how thw allegations go. That's what many West Ham fans think and certainly it's never been really explained why Harry got the sack - he still claims it was becuase of something he said in a fanzine interview as that was obvioulsy the agreed party line. Blokes is as dodgy as f*ck in my opinion.

Dodgy is as dodgy does (eh?) and Redknapp's past involvement in transfers was allowed to be 'sketchy' by the bent b*st*rds that ran the club and ultimately couldn't wait to sell out to a pie-in-the-sky biscuit merchant...

btw - why IS T. Brown honorary life president?!? Services to fuck- uppery?

Totally agree here and what's more the European Champions League Cup final being played on a Saturday night. Bah! I've got two parties to go on the 19th. Bloody UEFA cunts.

I dint think that (and self describing as a Marxist) would have helped much when Labour was changed under Starmer. There was a purge of people as far left as him that he was lucky to survive once in my opinion.   Stuff like this heavy endorsement of Momentum and Corbyn. It doesn't wash with a party that is in actual government.   https://labourlist.org/2020/04/forward-momentum-weve-launched-to-change-it-from-the-bottom-up/
    • I perceive the problem.simply as spending too much without first shoring up the economy.  If the government had reduced borrowing,  and as much as most hate the idea, reduced government deiartment spending (so called austerity) and not bowed to union pressures for pay rises, then encouraged businesses to grow, extra cash would have entered the coffers and at a later stage when the economy was in a stronger position rises in NI or taxes would have a lesser impact, but instead Reeves turned that on its head by increasing ni which has killed growth, increased prices and shimmied the economy.  What's worse is that the perceived 20 billion black hole has increased to 30 billion in a year. Is there a risk that after 5 years it could be as high as 70 billion ???
    • That petition is bananas.   If you want a youth centre there pay the landlord the same rent a Londis would and build it yourself or shut the f**k up to be honest. Wasting our MPs time with this trivial nonsense is appalling. If your kids are still out at 1am on a school night you've got bigger problems than vapes and booze and hot sausage rolls.
