White Horse certainly doesn't. Pedler does a decent roast. Crooked Well. Camberwell Arms... Sue
I don't consider myself a foodie, and I think the food at any Young's pub is generally poor (I'm being generous here). It's perfectly possible to like and respect a range of restaurant food and to like one offering perfectly reasonable food at reasonable prices. GreatExhibitionPub
Hi Guys,Sorry to hear that some of you had a poor experiences here in the past, I took over here in February so the nightmares of the oast are well and truly over. We have an amazing chef in place now, Oran Tait, who only works with fresh, seasonal products and does amazing roasts. If you guys do ever fancy popping back for a roast then let yourselves be known to either myself or one of my senior staff members and I'll make sure that we look after you appropriately and dispel the mistakes of managers past.I will also personally guarantee that you will love our roasts or I will happily refund you any monies paid.Cheers,Nick Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/190380-best-traditional-sunday-roast-in-our-area/page/2/#findComment-1274858 Share on other sites
Cedges
Why does no one do a carvery around here? Everyone gets a choice of meat - option to pay to get more perhaps and everyone goes home full because you can gorge on roasties and veg until you fall into a coma. And you can put as much gravy where you want it - no having to ask for a tiny extra pot 3 times. Baffles me.
