East Dulwich Store 281 Crystal Palace Rd - TERRIBLE/RUDE Service

Recommended Posts

I really feel that I have to share this. I have been in to the store twice now to use the UPS drop off service and on both occasions the man has been very rude to me and on the last occasion has upset my 4 year old daughter.

The first occasion he told me I had a 'funny' surname, and he wasn't being kind, in fact I felt it was rather racist

The second time my daughter picked up a plastic toy from the counter whilst we were waiting for him to process the UPS parcels and he pointed out that she had picked it up, I said I know that she is just looking and he then told me I should teach her manners as she shouldn't pick it up!! This upset my daughter who tonight asked me if she was polite and had manners.

His UPS service is a shambles and disorganised, he couldn't process my 3 parcels kept asking me to move them round his shop, as they could be blocking the aisles, even though there were no customers in (if he processed them quickly they wouldn't be hanging around) compare this to 393-395 Lordship Lane who did process the parcels, they were polite and took 2 minutes to do so.

    • Yup. At best I have people who detest Trump shrugging and saying something like “what ya gonna do?” Like that is any kind of answer what we gonna do is condemn, and watch out for same happening here - and watch out for all the handmaidens who would allow this to happen.  Apologists for Farage, Jenrick etc
    • There are plenty of Jewish people on these marches, who have every right to stand up and say not in our name. A Jewish bloc attends every single one: https://jfjfp.com/voices/jjp-at-the-gaza-demonstrations/ Jewish peoples lives are being made less safe by this war, as we recently saw in Manchester and in the clear increase in antisemitism. They want to see Peace, and this will only happen with justice for the Palestinians. Most have - within living memory - members of their families who have been murdered by an authoritarian regime. They know what they are seeing and why they are marching. Calling going on march 'indulging in Jew hatred' is just ridiculous. You've clearly never been on one. Engage your critical faculties and think about why these marches are being smeared, rather than spouting what the right wing press and home secretary tell you.
