Embedding photos on forum - does it still work?

I just tried to embed a photo in a post on the forum but when I checked the preview, it did not show up as an embedded image - is the forum no longer using imgur, or have I just done something wrong?

Let's see...random image with embed code from Imgur, seems to work.

Thanks, that helped me figure out the same problem.

The steps that work for me are:

1. Resize image so it will fit (I use an app called Image Size, and make it so the longest dimension is 400 pixels)

2. Upload to Imgur

3. Click on the image (not the post). Copy link.

4. Paste the link into the forum post, in between the following code excpet use square brackets instead of normal ones: (img) (/img)

If i'm being inefficient, perhaps someone will post a simpler way :)

Slightly simpler, if you hover over the image you get the link, but move slightly to the left to the down arrow and you'll get "share links" where you can get a specific code for forums, which you can past straight in without additions.
