crompo123
Hello,my 10 month old has had a dry cough for 3 weeks now...it started off as a heavy cold/cough, but the last two weeks, she only seems to get it at night (and nap times, occasionally).I just wondered if anyone had any experience of coughs lasting this long...maybe its quite normal, but stupidly i googled it, and predictably enough it could indicate almost anything. I have been to the doctor, but for know she says to 'see how it goes'... KattyKit
Up to date with immunisations and otherwise well - it is not unusual for a cough to linger for some weeks after a cold or to be worse at night. You could try moistening the air using a humidifier (using a damp towel in front of the radiator also works but is a bit impractical in summer!) - this may offer some relief. I do sympathise - after my baby had a cold the night-time coughing would drive me to the point of insanity! x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19138-dry-cough-at-night/#findComment-467686 Share on other sites
