No running water???

As of about half hour ago...nothing coming through the taps...did I miss a notice of some kind?? On Goodrich Road.

Workman went through the pipe just round the corner from

Crystal Palace Road junction, was gushing out when I went past at 6.45. Car getting a free wash.

We are on Goodrich too, no water here either. Went off just after 7.

There is a water leak on crystal Palace Road round the corner that is still gushing water, it's been like that for weeks now!!

Thames Water website site says something about a leak on lordship lane, not far from crystal palace road junction. Might this be the one you spotted PipD?

It also says they take an average of 4 days to repairs leaks...

I still had water at 8:30...in any case, shouldn't we have been given some sort of warning?

I am on Goodrich Road and have no water, havent had any since about 8.20. We had no warning either.

There is a leak on CPPR and another one on LL that may be related.

However I'm talking about a 10 ft geyser that was washing my car from the other side of the road! Work started a couple of days ago, when they coated my car with mud.

okay have just called Thames Water, there is actually a burst water main on Goodrich Road which is the culprit in this case.

Sounds like there is quite a lot of fresh water wastage going on!

Just got the recorded message at Thames Water, burst pipe on Goodrich and they saying that they're working on it... Fingers crossed they get it fixed overnight (although that may be a little optimistic!)

Me too, cos I called them 3rd Aug re leak outside 328 Crystal Palace road, still not fixed! I thought there may be a link. Was told they fixed Crys Pal road, but happened again??!! Oh Yes?

Told the stoppage is due to problem outside 105? Goodrich Road . "We aim to get water back on within 6 hours. So you should be ok tomorrow morning!" Terrific! Ah well, at least I'm well stocked in deo!

Work is gas btw.

The leak on Crystal Palace road was still there at the weekend, and appeared to be getting worse

Fair play to Thames water for fixing it so quickly, chap I spoke to was nice and helpful as well. Obviously helped that the source was easily identifiable and the hole had already been dug! I did say before that my car got a free wash, closer inspection last night revealed it had in fact got another mud shower, hope the rain has washed it off!
