Roofer recommendation - Russell Perring

Recommended Posts

There have been many recommendations for him already on here, but I want to add a huge thumbs up for Russell Perring, who, with his team have just finished re-roofing our house. He?s a lovely chap and I?d go as far to say the best tradesperson I?ve ever dealt with. He?s straightforward, honest and clearly very experienced in the trade. We had to wait a good six months for him to start which felt rather long at the time, and did so after reading other recommendations, but it was well worth the wait indeed and once he was here the job was done amazingly quickly.

As you can probably glean, a raving review all round.

Russell came to our rescue this week after being badly let down by another roofer. We quickly established the cause of the problem and he came up with a sensible remedy at a decent price. Communication good and he turned up when he said he would. A pleasure to deal with and would definitely use again.

Another great job done by Russell Perring from RJP Roofing. Should you need a roofer don't hesitate to contact him on 07852 972052 or [email protected]. He replaced most of the roof on my Victorian house in pretty much 5 days. Straight after he finished we had snow in London and so his work was tested successfully. Very polite and prompt, he has tons of knowledge and would give you the best possible solution should there be a problem. Most importantly he is a no nonsense person who gets on with his work in the most efficient and effective way. He also pointed out a few bits that needed doing even though this wasn't part of the quote. I am very happy with him and can't recommend him high enough.

    • what type of car was it, if they are in demand, might be helpful info.
    • Which has, unfortunately, closed. Au Ciel is much better than Gail's. Big bakery in the parade of shops near Rocca in Dulwich Village with all the seats outside - you can't miss it. Normally a big queue outside at weekends with walkers and cyclists topping up on carbs and coffee!
    • Hi, just to say there was an attempted car theft at the FH end of Underhill over Friday night. Without wanting to go into all the detail, they were pretty adamant and took a great deal of time to (try) take the car. The police came within minutes, and drove around etc.. The police said the car was in demand at the moment. I don’t know if that was brand or model. notwithstanding what the police said, all car owners should be vigilant and neighbours. These thieves were interrupted twice by neighbours, but the thieves came back etc and the neighbours didn’t put 2+2 together as to what was happening to the car. The thieves were two guys, on the cctv it looked like they were wearing grey, but it may have been black (cctv can look odd at night). My neighbours said they were black. They had a bag with them, no doubt carrying tools and they may have been dropped off by a car, that is being investigated.  Take care!!
