Thanks happyED = I hadn't seen that quote .

"An investigation by exam boards into claims of cheating at Kingsdale Foundation School in Dulwich is looking at vocational qualifications, after initially focusing on AS-levels and GCSEs so that results can be given out on time, said a source. It has been alleged pupils were given too much help with exams. Head Steve Morrison said awarding bodies were satisfied the integrity of GCSEs and AS-levels was not impaired"

GCSE and AS levels were given out to students after they were forced to wait for hours and hours to receive them (only to be told the results could change at any point), they were only let in to get the results in groups of 2 or 3 and harassed and interrogated by senior staff to find out whether they had been in contact with other members of staff over the summer (clearly to work out if they were one of the MANY students who have written statements to the exam board about the cheating which happened in their examinations). The school went as far as checking students facebook friends and forced them to delete ex teachers, which let me make clear is in no way illegal, if you are an ex student and the teacher is an ex teacher, there is no problem. Importantly if this school is innocent it need not worry as it will know it is innocent, however it is not. I also question why members of staff who turned up to experience their students results which is NORMAL practice were turned away being told they were not allowed on site until 5th September, again is this the sign of an innocent school? I think not. Members of staff who have been given permission to go into the school to get personal belongings or other similar items have been followed by senior members of staff to their rooms and offices and then have had their bags etc searched. Why? Do they think staff are going to be bringing out incriminating evidence which will demonstrate to the boards that cheating in exams did happen? Innocent school? I think not. And finally may I just add, that if this school was innocent, why are the exam boards STILL investigating? Because...the school is guilty.

I do hope, but really there is little hope of this, that the Chair of Governors gets some sense and learns to protect all of her staff, not just the man who makes their lives miserable.

So for those of you who have withdrawn your children from attending the sixth form, I applaud you. You have just done the best thing you can for your child's future. Kingsdale school has some absolutely fantastic, in fact, outstanding teachers who remain there, but above these teachers is sheer evil and corruption which resembles something that people who lived in Nazi Germany might have experienced. I can only look back at this school and hope that those who are good get a swift getaway. I did.

Cameron, you're spot on about the Kingsdale Management being the modern incarnation of the Nazi Regime but I fear the situation may be even worse than you suspect. Last time I was there the children were being forced to wear a sinister black uniform and when I entered a classroom all of the kids stood up in what appeared to be a strange, silent salute. I also know for a fact that certain "elite" pupils are being encouraged to learn German. How much longer can we carry on with this policy of appeasement?
Strong words, but I am inclined to believe (particularly as you point out the investigation is still going on!!!). I don't know whether anybody else saw the programme on channel 4 about buildings and how they affect our moods, which Kingsdale featured on? I can certainly imagine what the mood amongst staff and maybe even students is going to be like after all of this, I am not sure the building is going to help build a positive mood now

Cameron, you are not doing yourself any favours by comparing Kingsdale's senior management to the Nazi's. I presume that you are one of the whistleblowers. If you truly saw what you allege, then I think you are brave to come forward.

Best to step back now and keep your distance and your dignity. Let the authorities deal with it and find out the truth.

From what you say the matter is far from over. The silence (in media and forum) says it all really. Its the students I feel sorry for.

Let me retract the Nazi comment, I do apologise about that, because whilst people are being hurt and oppressed in the school, they are still very much alive.

And Prickle you are right, it is the students that you should feel sorry for, but the staff too need your support, because they do not get it from their employees at all. It has been said before, but people need to see beyond the smoke screen and understand the reality of this very serious situation.

I will take my step back now and let the exam boards do what they need to do.

    • I'm glad you are making good use of your car, but bemused how you are saving on petrol by only half filling every 3-4 weeks? Unless this prevents you using the car as often as you would like, surely you would use just the same amount of petrol, and spend the same amount of money, if you filled it up completely every 6 - 8 weeks? Have I missed something here?

    • Would Leon install a new double oven? Our eye level double oven was installed when we had our kitchen installed around 20 years ago and will need to be replaced with similar. I think we had 2 people to install it then - so does Leon work alone?
    • My car was registered in 2004. Automatic, ULEZ compatible.  Used to use it daily for work until 2016 when retired. Still used 3-5 days weekly after that as was doing voluntary work. My mobility has gradually declined and  it is painful to walk.. Family live in Kent, Essex and Sussex - so need car to visit them. My car battery is 2 years old - when had to call out RAC to assist at home as it was dead, they found it was the original battery installed in 2004!! My car is essential - shopping each week, being able to go to garden centres, or DIY stores, taking the cat to the vet and  other social activities. I now only half fill with petrol every 3- 4 weeks, so save that way. I am careful  with my finances and would be lost without the car. It is regularly maintained (Turners).
