I'm a dad of a young child, looking to play a bit of football on the weekends or during the week, nothing too serious, just to get a bit of fresh air and a kick-around, that doesn't take me awsy from the family for hours and hours. Does anyone know of anything informal in the area I could join in with, preferably on Peckham Rye? Alternatively, if you fancy something similar (dad or not!), PM me, I'll collect all the responses and if I can get enough people, I'll start one of my own...

This might appeal. It's very informal, usually, 5, 6, or 7-a-side, you attend when you can/like, and it's ENORMOUS fun.

At the moment we meet on Peckham Rye Park near the Cafe at 11.00 Saturdays. and 19.30 Thursdays.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
