Bonfire2010
I bought some fresh pork mince a few days ago, made meatballs (uncooked) and froze them. I defrosted them today but we have now decided to go out for dinner. My question is, if I now cook the meatballs can I freeze them again (as they will have been cooked through)?Silly question, but with a baby son and an elderly father I don't want to take any chances...Thanks x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19243-a-stupid-question-about-defrosting-meat/ Share on other sites

ClareC
As long as you cook them before refreezing that's fine. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19243-a-stupid-question-about-defrosting-meat/#findComment-469706 Share on other sites
Bonfire2010
Lovely - thanks both. I thought it would be OK, but just had a little niggling doubt :-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19243-a-stupid-question-about-defrosting-meat/#findComment-469711 Share on other sites
