how best to celebrate a 7th birthday?

Just wondered if anyone had any bright ideas about how to celebrate a boy's 7th birthday with five or six chums?

Have been thinking about this too. Had thought Dr Who exhibition but it is v.expensive, London eye or IMAX plus lunch on south bank? Is there a go kart track in burgess park? Paintball? Sorry for stream of conciousness. Watching thread with interest!

cycle ride in richmond park? you used ot be able to hire the velodrome for an hour which was great fun.

why don't you try the Mini (in door) golf place in Hither Green? They do B'day parties.

All go to adventure playground at Dog Kennel Hill - there is a room for tea and cake afterwards

How about taking them to the cinema?

I took my son and 3 other children (couldn't fit any more in my little car) on Sunday morning to Surrey Quays. They do a kids club where it's only ?1 per child and adults goes free.

We then went to Pizza hut for lunch.

They all seemed to enjoy it.

Beckenham Odeon also do the kids club.

We did a camping sleepover for our daughters 7th birthday in July - her plus 3 friends, 1 big tent & Dad 'next door' in his 1 man tent. Used the godparents garden as ours too small & had an evening BBQ & morning bacon & American pancake fest. It was fab!

My son had his party at the climbing wall at crystal palace sports centre and it was brilliant. You can book.it through the climb London website. I think it was about ?90 for 90 mins with 6 kids.

That's really expensive for the climbing wall. Cinema and pizza hut is a good idea. Love the camping and BBQ idea.

Also at Surrey Quays is the bowling. They do birthday parties and lay on food (full on nuggets and chips stuff, but it IS a party!), and the prices are very reasonable.

Sunday mornings is family day too, so there's plenty of kids playing, with the gutter fill-ins (which makes the whole thing much easier).

my son has asked to go to The London Dungeon in London Bridge for his 7th birthday. i need to check the min age tho, he's a bit morbid but it might be too much!
