Be safe Izi Plus rear facing car seat. It suitable for 0-25kgs. Fits with the car seat belt.

The seat is 3 years old.

It?s a really great car seat. My son still fits in it a 5 years old.

iZi Plus

BIGGER

Many parents turn their children to face forward much too soon. With iZi Plus the child can sit in a rear-facing position for longer. The child seat is ECE R44 04 approved and protects a rear-facing child weighing from 0-25 kg or from approx. 6 months to 5 years.

BETTER

iZi Plus provides greater safety, an improved sitting/reclining position and more space for the child. With the best reclining position on the market, this child seat is also suitable for small children. The sitting angle may be adjusted to three positions. There is an approx. 10 degree difference between the highest and lowest position.

STRONGER

The mechanical front bumper permits simpler installation and a stronger child seat. The safety leg and the design of the child seat has been improved and there is excellent side impact protection (SIP) for the head and stomach. A stronger child seat leads to better collision test results. iZi Plus is Plus tested! The Plus Test has such strict requirements that forward facing child car seats would not be able to comply with them.

WHY CHOOSE A BELT MOUNTED CAR SEAT?

It?s important that children travel rearfacing as long as possible. ISOfix are approved from 0-18 kg. BeSafe iZi Plus is therefor beltmounted and approved till 25 kg.

    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
