RAIN OR SHNE:)

I'll be there tomorrow with lots of baby & kids toys & clothes - most items going for for ?1 or less.

We've also cleared our loft of lots of Art books, DVDs, Collectible vinyl, board games, great condition household items and more. Also some ladies vintage (but not *that* old) designer clothes in size 10/12.

See you there.

First time I have been and was impressive. S'one really good bargains.

Food though was very disappointing....thought there would be much more variety - not just 2.!!

Are you planning other suppliers, if do have a couple ego might well be interested.

Good footfall but hard to work out folk who were buying - I certainly was but didxnotvsee anyone else

I agree two food stalls are enough but would have been nice to have different ones not more or less the same - gull marks for them though - shows a good work ethic.

Perhaps in time, you might consider another stall or rotation of stall ( food) say at bank holidays send nearer Easter, Christmas etc... Although they may not be interested on an ad hoc basis.

Regards and thanks from me for organising the whole thing.

Perhaps other EDF might offer thanks as well.

beansprout you wondered if other people were buying yesterday? I was selling there for the first time yesterday, and certainly sold enough bits and pieces to make it worthwhile. Trade seemed brisk at the stall next door to me, too. Above all the event was well organised and friendly (thank you to the customer who told me my prices were too low!). No time to check out the food - next time, maybe...

    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
    • This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
    • Watching my cats over the years with foxes, I've found that foxes have totally ignored them. One exception was when a young fox hadn't seen my cat and found himself eye to eye with my cat at a distance of 1 metre. There was a stand off but the fox blinked first and my cat chased him out of the garden. So proud of her. I believe when foxes have attacked cats, the cat has been vulnerable  - old, young, ill wounded.
    • It's also possible that someone is hand feeding foxes and encouraging them by this to approach others. I have heard of foxes attacking young children (if only anecdotally) but not adults. They do seem to attack cats.
