The Beauty Haven - Best Massage Ever!!

Found this amazing place a few weeks ago and had myself the best massage ever!!

This lovely therapist has a beauty salon on the ground floor of her home and it is such a relaxing environment.

It was the best massage I think I have had. Lots of little touches that you don't find in other salons.

Would highly recommend.

The Beauty Haven is on Amott Road

I usually only have waxing at the Beauty Haven and they do a really good job. However I have premature aging skin with acne and on the off-chance i tried a facial, besides being very relaxing my skin has dramatically improved just after one treatment, I am looking forward to my next facial tomorrow and would also highly recommend this place.

I went for my first facial with Liz last Saturday and agree with the other posters on the forum that she does a really great job. The environment is relaxing and clean and Liz is professional, gentle and thorough. It was a really enjoyable experience and my skin looked luminous afterwards. I will definitely go back again. I had no trouble getting hold of Liz on the phone - she mentioned that she's a bit short-staffed at the moment so if you leave a voicemail, she will get back to you.
I went to the Beauty Haven East Dulwich yesterday as a birthday treat from my husband, I got treated to a full body massage and a Dermalogica Facial and I must say it was one of the most relaxing experiences I've had at a beauty salon. I was given lots of samples and advice on my skin, I will definately be going back and would recommend them to anybody.

Just went to the Beauty Haven for the first time this evening. Really easy to make an appointment over the phone- really accommodating as I was able to have my appointment earlier then originally requested.

Had a waxing and it was soooo quick! (thank goodness!) They were able also give me advice about having a manicure for my wedding in August- I have terrible nails and never had my nails done before- and now able to book a session for me and my bridesmaids. Really looking forward to it! Big thumbs-up!

    • For a while there was an unexpected glitch in planning laws that meant phone box operators (which is obviously mostly BT, but there were others) didn't need council permission to replace call boxes with small electronic billboards, so long as you could make calls from the billboard. I *think* the one on the corner of Croxted Rd and Park Hall Rd is an example of that. So the operators weren't always in a rush to remove the call boxes even when they didn't make any money on calls. I don't know if it still works like this. https://www.local.gov.uk/about/news/lga-call-crackdown-trojan-telephone-boxes-amid-900-cent-rise-some-areas

    • As said, why are you not eating humble pie for a non-story? I expect that scores of landlords are unaware or made mistakes in this territory.  And this is not just the Chancellor but a married couple.  It feels like you and others are taking joy in demonising her. The only question would be is the house suitable for renting out?  I expect it is, and if not that is up to Southwark to take action rather than keyboard warriors.  The only surprises are the expense of licensing - surely time for a thread on "is licensing a money maker for local authorities?".  I'm being facetious.  And that the cost of rental, which feels fairly reasonable based on this area. By all means go after rogue landlords.  Be my guest.  I was horrified to see some of the properties rented in London and beyond by family members.  Not all bad. Oh and another question.  Haven't I got better things to do than comment on this 'no story here' thread?  😁
