Twinighters
hey, i live in colyton road. there's a poor dog that barks frequently. the dog is obviously left on it's own outside the majority of the time which i don't think is great plus the barking wakes me up at the crack of dawn. i'd like to speak to the owner but can't pinpoint exactly where the barking is coming from. any clues appreciated.... yeknomyeknom
Yes it's driving us mad too. It's clearly new as we have been hearing it regularly but only for the last few weeks. A nightmare with the windows open in this heat. Poor dog must be miserable. Gogooma
Given this post was from 2011 I suspect that original dog is no longer barking 🙂 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19468-barking-dog/#findComment-1626877 Share on other sites

CHrisED
Got a call back from the noise and nuisance team and they asked me to call them on 0207 525 5777 when it is occurring. As it’s just started again I’m on the line with them now. It did take a while to get through, but it’s been logged for what it’s worth. I had a walk round to find where the poor dog is m. As I approached the house may be at the back of it stopped. I did this multiple times to test my theory. This is leading me to believe this dog just wants someone to come home. All lights were off at the property, it’s probably just been shut out while the owner is out. What a sad situation for all. Just had a call back… the address has had a written warning a few months back. FYI The N&N team need to come and take a reading from our/your property to properly enforce the legislation around noise complaints. Bark!
