NewWave
Can anyone recommend a good NHS dentist in the area?I've finally decided the travel time to and from my dentist of the past 12 years in Notting hill is too much.I want someone who's good with nervous patients and who offers private hygenist services too.thank you. pablogrande
I'm looking for a new dentist too, as I have finally given up on the one on Northcross Road. I used to go to the Half Moon Dentist in Herne Hill as my partner went there due to them treating her very well as she is fairly nervous too, we stopped going a few years ago as the receptionists were pretty rude and inept but this seems to be a prerequisite for most dentists/doctors surgeries these days! pablogrande
There seemed to be quite a high turnover of staff there, the hygienist/cleaning appointments are over extremely quickly with mixed results, Also I needed referral to a specialist for root canal work so went for initial consultation and immediately tried to get me to pay ?500 deposit towards further treatment with no confirmed final price. They have had some excellent dentists there over the years but don't feel so good about them now, having said that the reception staff there are good.
