2x New Baby Stair Gates for Sale

Recommended Posts

We have 2, new, never opened baby stair gates for sale. They are the Lindam Sure Shut Orto Pressure Fit Safety Gate, found here: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/posting.php?25. We bought three for our home, but realised after that these two wouldn't fit the space downstairs. We have one installed upstairs and it works very well - sturdy for little toddlers that like to tug, but easy to open.

Selling for ?15 each. Available for pick up in SE22.

Hi Bernie,

The gate dimensions are 74 cm high and between 76-82 cm wide (they're extendable so adapt to different size openings). It is a very sturdy gate. Our little one tends to tug with her whole body weight, and it's never budged. We've had it up for about 6 months now with no problems. The important thing is to have two flat surfaces either side that you can attach the gate to. Our issue is that we have a round bannister at the bottoming of our stairs, which is why we're selling these on.

Let me know if you're interested in buying one or both!

Cheers,

Susanna

Hi Susanna

Thanks very much for the info. I've just measured and 74cm is too high for us as we (annoyingly) have a dado rail halfway up the wall so it will be in the way of fitting the gate.

They sound great otherwise. I hope you get a buyer quickly!

    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first?
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
    • We're having a bumper crop of eating apples this year - so many infact that we're wondering what to do with the surplus. Neighbours have had some and we've left some outside the house but I was thinking we could pass some on to a foodbank - or even to Kings if they're allowed to take in fruit?   Suggestions appreciated.
