mjem
I cannot figure out why the East Dulwich Forum remove posts - ?!.I know what is and isn't allowed in the different sections. When they do remove posts there's no pattern I can see as to why!And dare I say it....is the Forum controlled by bakers and/or djs.., and thats why they seem to remove such posts inparticular?!?PLEASE STOP REMOVING MY POSTS - THEY ARE PERFECTLY INNOCENT :'( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19819-why-does-the-forum-remove-certain-posts/ Share on other sites
Loz
Are they being removed or moved? Any for sale or event advertising posts will be pushed off in to the correct sections. Check your posting record (click on your name in any of your posts) - your posts will probably still be around somewhere. mjem
hi - thanks for your reply :)Well as far as i can see they are removed because when i do a search for them i dont find them. Also I just checked as you advised and the last thing i posted prior to this is indeed not in the list...?!I do not understand because i do make a point of posting things in the right section.More often than not they are cake/baking related too. When i message the forum enquirying what the deal is i do not get a reply!! Family Room Moderator
I've just had a look for you - there was a post of yours removed on Sept 26th. It was an advertisement for your business, which was posted in the wrong section (for sale & offered), and didn't contain your trading address so did not meet the requirements to be in the business section.Hope that helps.FRM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19819-why-does-the-forum-remove-certain-posts/#findComment-478867 Share on other sites
red devil
I see from your previous posts that you run a company. It is against the forum rules to advertise your company in multiple posts...could this explain their disappearence?Edited to say...The Mods beat me to it Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19819-why-does-the-forum-remove-certain-posts/#findComment-478870 Share on other sites
mjem
Hi thank you for replyingI will bear that in mind in future - although do you mean website address?I've just searched through several similar cake/bake advertising, in 'for sale & offered', inparticular: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?9,747110,751190#msg-751190 ,and all this has is a website address. My post/s had a website address, email and phone number.I will add my address/trading address too from now on then. Thanks again. Family Room Moderator
A lot of the posts in that section are either people recommending, or asking for recommendations, for certain businesses - in which case no trading address is needed.Feel free to report any posts you feel break the rules and the moderating team will look into them. We're not around 24/7 so sometimes things get missed. Thanks,FRM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19819-why-does-the-forum-remove-certain-posts/#findComment-479002 Share on other sites
