I was naturally way ahead of the curve and the delectable ( though strangely coifed ) obviously Eva Wiseman picked up on this thread.


She expands on the whole 'ugly shoe' thing this season in Sunday's Observer article.

With the exception of simple tasks, it is illegal for anyone other than a licensed electrician to perform electrical work. Hiring a qualified electrician ensures that the work is done in compliance with local laws and building codes. Some electricians are being recommended on EDF but here is no indication that they registered with NICEIC or NAPIT.  One is well advised to steer clear of Check-a-Trade which is a marketing service funded by subscription.
